Within the First in the Forest Program, students are organized into four cohorts based on their assigned advisor. Each cohort, Magnolia Scholars, Dogwood Scholars, Maple Scholars, and SEEDS Scholars is led by a dedicated advisor who provides personalized guidance and support throughout their academic careers. While the entire First in the Forest community comes together for shared experiences, these smaller cohorts create an intimate setting where students can develop deeper relationships with their advisor and receive more individualized attention. This structure ensures that every first-generation and Pell-eligible student has a consistent point of contact who understands their unique needs and can help them navigate their path to success at Wake Forest.
