First Year Experience

FYE 101 – The College Transition

First in the Forest offers a First Year Experience course called FYE 101 – The College Transition. This course is designed to prepare and assist students with their transition toward college life at Wake Forest, with an emphasis on community building, academic success, and personal wellbeing.

FYE 101 is offered in multiple sections during the fall semester of a student’s first year. The course is co-taught by Wake Forest professors alongside a First in the Forest staff member. First in the Forest students can register for the course during their summer advising sessions.
